Why I write
My interest in writing peaked after I read a book by my favorite author (Jim Butcher).
Dresdin files was not just another book to me, It shaped many my philosophies.
I learned that fiction was not about imaginary worlds; they were a way to answer deep philosophical questions, without the burden of reality.
I read the Furies of Calderon, and it cemented my relationship with violence.
Then there came cinder spires which i enjoyed (still ongoing). Actually, I’ve enjoyed all his works, and the questions they answered.
So now I’ve decided to do the same. But i won’t be limited to just fiction.
You will notice that most of my writings are African centered, they search for answers with regard to psychology/philosophy, identity and relationships.
I go by the pen name Dark.
You are welcome to the House of Duhu.
